Born in Detroit, Jones honed his craft under the mentorship of John Romita Sr. and made his mark at Marvel Comics, where he worked on titles like Iron Man, Thor, Iron Fist, and Black Panther. In 1975, alongside writer Tony Isabella, he helped create the character, Misty Knight.
